Exotic Grilled Alaskan Salmon
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh Alaska Salmon fillets, thawed if necessary
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
For additional flavor, blend in any one of the following, if desired:
- ¼ tsp coarse or Dijon-style mustard
- ¼ tsp finely minced shallots or onions
- ¼ tsp dried ginger
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
Directions
Arrange salmon in a single layer on the baking pan. Brush with lemon juice. In a small bowl, blend brown sugar and soy sauce brush evenly over the fillets. Broil or place each salmon portion onto the grill for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, about 5-6 inches from heat. Brush with remaining sauce.
